The “Keep Rockport Beautiful” Committee is encouraging everyone to recycle.
It is
- very important for our environment
- can help your budget by using less trash bags.
- saves space in our landfills.
Let’s all do what we can to Keep Rockport Beautiful.
City of Rockport residents can pick up a recycling container at Rockport City Hall.
The City of Rockport has curb side recycling pickup through a contract with Allied Waste Services as follows:
- Downtown, South Rockport - Mondays
- Central Rockport, Country Club and Spanish Woods subdivisions - Tuesday
- Key Allegro, Little Bay Shores and Harbor Oaks subdivision to Traylor Boulevard - Wednesdays.
The following items can be recycled:
- newspapers
- plastics
- metal (aluminum/steel food and beverage cans).
